Finding peace Through The Bible, Lesson 7: Why Did Jesus Come?

Hello, and welcome to lesson 7 of our journey to Finding Peace Through the Bible.

In the past two lessons we have specifically focused on why we need a Saviour. 

We began with creation. We saw that God created humanity and that our life came from Him. Then we looked at the entrance of sin and the consequences of humanity’s separation from God.

In our second study, we discovered that the problem of sin goes deeper than outward behavior. We cannot simply compare ourselves with other people, decide that we are reasonably good, and assume that everything between us and God is therefore all right. We need freedom that only Jesus can give.

And today we come to the wonderful question:

Why did Jesus come?
